Rebirth

Rebirth
Acrylic on canvas
120×100 cm
In this painting, the artist shares with the viewer the transformation that we all go through to some extent in life. Sometimes it seems that there is no way out of a protracted hopeless situation, and then we are faced with the choice of withdrawing into ourselves, “the depths of our shell”, or continuing the unbearable forward movement and living… Closing ourselves off from the world seems to be the most painless way out, but then the external circumstances begin to press harder, and we will feel our unfreedom even more acutely… Therefore, the apparent hiding from the world turns into a prison for the soul, where there is no development… And only when we overcome ourselves and keep moving towards the goal of “freeing ourselves from the shackles of our habitual shell”, we have a chance to “surface” to freedom, but even then we have to learn to breathe air with a full chest, while we lived all our life under the water column… and this new stage will probably be a painful transformation, but so necessary for our soul…
