Tulips, A4 Acrylic, Cardboard
The tulip is a symbol of happiness and beauty. According to the legend, the flower’s bud contained beauty and happiness, but they were inaccessible to people – because the bud would not open. And only an innocent child who touched the petals could bring beauty and happiness into the world.
Such light and pure emotions are evoked by this delicate flower, and the purple and pink and peach color scheme of the painting emphasizes this peculiarity. The artist used pastels to enhance the freshness and lightness of spring, and the deep green invites the approach of warmth.
